    Hi Moms! Looking for advice for June 09 WDW trip for my daugther's 3rd bday. Staying at CBR- trying to decide between preferred and standard room. No double preferred rooms left, but not sure howwe could make a king bed work (me, DH, DD). Any ideas?

    Hi, Elisabeth,   A third birthday celebration in Disney World . . .  What could be more fun!  Make sure to stop by guest services so your little princess can get her "Happy Birthday" button!


    If you are unable to get a preferred room at Caribbean Beach with 2 double beds, but can get the standard room with 2 doubles, I would go for the standard room.   After a long day in the parks, all of you are going to need your rest, which means you will need plenty of bed space!  I think you will appreciate this after you've been walking in the hot sun all day long.


    If you are very set on having a preferred room, try calling back to Disney Reservations a few times before June.   Call right at 7:00 a.m. EST when they open to see if they can get you what you want.  Also, add to your reservation what your requests are.  Is it the water view you want, or to be closer to the food court and pool area?  While requests are noted but not guaranteed, it can't hurt to have the reservationist jot down your wish list.
