Hi Kay,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations! Like you, I love having a full kitchen when I am on vacation. I find that I save both time and money by preparing some meals in my villa, and I can imagine that these benefits are multiplied for a large group such as yours!
My assumption is that the last time you traveled, the youngest member of your party was under 3 years old, which means that child did not count toward the total number of guests in your room. Now with that child at 4 years old, the child will count toward the total guest count, so you will need to look for an accommodation for ten guests. Let me offer you some options.
If you would like for the whole party to be in one villa, you will need to book a three-bedroom grand villa. These are amazing spaces, sleep up to 12 guests, and do include a full kitchen. Three-bedroom grand villas are located at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and Jambo House, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Another option, if you are able to break your party up into two groups of five, is to book two separate one-bedroom villas at a
Disney Deluxe Villa resort. The resorts where this would be possible include the resorts I mentioned above, plus Disney's Beach Club Villas and Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Each one-bedroom villa would still have its own full kitchen.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kay. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
