Hey howdy hey Martha and welcome back to planDisney!
I will preface this message with the warning that I am in no way qualified to give you financial advice, or advice on credit cards for that matter, but let's talk about this Disney Visa Card. My wife and I have one and we do enjoy adding up some points so we can redeem these for our trips to Walt Disney World Resort while we shop for weekly expenses like groceries.
Now, while this card does give you perks for Disney Parks, this is not something that Disney manages and is a product of Chase bank. You can easily go to that website, search for personal cards and find the options for the Disney Visa Card to sign up that way. You can also check on the details of all of the perks with the card as well. In the past, we have had areas in EPCOT designated as "rest stops" for Disney Visa Cardholders as well as special character meet and greets. As
Walt Disney World Resort continues to fully reopen and resume more "normal" operations, these may be things you have the benefits for as well.
Again not pushing one way or another on this point, just some friendly advice! Good luck with your continued planning for your trip in October. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking all things Disney!
Happy planning,
Nick
