I looked at the villas, and saw that there was nearly no cost differential in a studio villa and a regular room (specifically at Beach Club). In that case, is there any disadvantage to the former vs. the latter?

    Hi Steven:

In my opinion, the answer should be guided by who is in your traveling party and has to sleep in the second bed.  The Beach Club Villas come with a kitchenette area, which you may find convenient.  The Villa Studios normally come with one Queen size bed and a double sleeper sofa, where the Standard rooms generally have two queen size beds.

In my experience, the real value of the Villas is when you stay in a one or two bedroom.  You may want to stay in the Studio just to try it, but I would not go out of my way to stay in one.

    Enjoy your vacation.
