I looked through the "transportation" Qs, and didn't see this one. We've never been, but would like to forego a rental car. We would like to go out of the park to buy groceries for our room. How can that be done? Thanks!

The only way to do that is to hire a cab from your resort or one of the main parks.  The resorts sell common items in there main shop.  You can get items like, bread, cereal, milk, pop tarts, potato chips, etc.  The prices may be cheaper at the grocery store, but when you add in cab fare I doubt you save much.

Another option is to look into grocery delivery services.  Walt Disney World does not endorse any company, but will allow them to drop off groceries with bell services.  I would recommend doing an internet search for grocery delivery in Orlando.  The delivery charges depend on the amount of your order.

    Have a great trip.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
