I've looked through the previous question/answer section and can't find the answer so here goes: I'm wondering what ingredients are in the roasted beet salad at Sanaa in the Animal Kingdom lodge area. Thank you for your time!

    Hi, Rebecca!

Thanks so much for directing your question my way!

I know exactly which salad you're referring to because when I dined at Sanaa, a friend who was with me ordered that and it was so colorful! She loved it but I didn't have a chance to try it.

Since I wasn't sure what exactly was in the Roasted Beets Salad, I called the restaurant directly and spoke with the Chef there. Unfortunately, this particular salad is no longer on their menu so I was not able to get the exact ingredients for you.

I did a Google search for "Roasted Beets Salad Sanaa" and came up with lots of different results. There were different recipes from where people have tried to make their own version of the salad. Most of them had red onions and fresh mint. You can roast the beets until they're black on the outside either in your oven or on your barbeque grill. Of course, it might be fun to tweek the recipes you find until you get the right taste that you're looking for!

I wish you the best of luck with trying different recipes! I'll keep my fingers crossed that on your next visit to Sanaa, they have that salad on their menu again!

Thanks again for stopping by, Rebecca, and please don't hesitate to write back in with any other questions you have!
