I have looked everywhere for information on the pirate/zoombie dress up for boys and cannot find it anywhere. I thought you needed reservations for it like the Princess Boutique but cannot find any info. Thanks

Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Marsha ~

Sounds like it be a pirates life ye seek. No worries matey. You've come to the right spot.

It sounds like you may be talking about The Pirates League in the Magic Kingdom. It is an incredibly fun experience for boys, girls, and even those young at heart like myself.

There's so much more to The Pirates League than just getting your face painted. Guests must be a minimum of 3 years old to participate but there is no age limit so it is great fun for the whole family. The adventure begins by selecting your pirate package. There are several to choose from including a few different types of pirates, Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Captain Hook, an empress or a mermaid. Then you get your very own pirate name. I mean, what is a pirate without a pirate name, right? Then your transformation begins. The make-up process takes about 30 minutes. Afterwards, you will get a few instructions from a Pirate Master and take a Pirate Oath. From there you enter a secret chamber. I won't give away what happens in there because it's super cute and I think you will have fun being surprised too.

For planning purposes, I would allow at least an hour once the experience begins. You will need to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to check-in so add that onto the hour for the experience.

While reservations are not required, I HIGHLY recommend them. That way you don't have a disappointed buccaneer on your hands if you walk up and can't get in. Having an appointment will also make it easier to plan your day. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-CREW or 407-939-2739.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
