Greetings, Dan! Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your transportation question. I had the great pleasure of using Express Transportation for a few days on my last trip, and it’s the only way I would have been able to fit in four parks in one day after flying in from my hometown. Skipping bag check and touchpoints is such a time saver!
Typically, the last Express Transportation bus leaves 30-60 minutes before the park closes. After that point, you’ll be using standard
Walt Disney World Resort Transportation. You can always check with your Cast Member at the
Express Transportation table to see exactly what time that last bus will leave - they are “in the know” for the exact moment your bus will pull away. If the time is not lining up with your plans, you have a few choices. You can either spend your last hour at the park you are in and take a ride share (Uber or Lyft) to your initial parking lot, or to pre plan, you can park where you KNOW you’ll be ending the night and use Express transportation or a ride share to get you to where you want to begin the morning.
One snag? The
Express Transportation Option doesn’t start running until 10am. So a ride share service or taxi may be the solution to your situation. If I can help any further in planning your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, please let me know. I hope your transportation around the Resort is faster than Lightning McQueen. KA-CHOW! ~ Lindsey P.
