I have looked at booking a trip not through Disney but wondered if I could still purchase a dining plan. We will more than likely be staying at Disney Swan.

    Hi Jenel!

I'm so happy to hear that you're thinking of booking a Walt Disney World vacation!

Regardless of whether you reserve your trip directly through Walt Disney World's website or by calling a Cast Member at (407) 939-7675, or through your favourite Travel Agent, you can choose to include the Disney Dining Plan with your booking at a Disney-owned, on-site Resort Hotel.

Unfortunately, the only two on-site hotels which do not offer the Disney Dining Plan are the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. Although these hotels are on-site, they are not owned or operated by Disney. At these two properties, you'll still enjoy usage of Disney's complimentary transportation services to and from the parks, water parks and Downtown Disney.

If you're very interested in being able to include a Disney Dining Plan with your Walt Disney World Resort Stay, I'd recommend that you consider perhaps Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or Disney's Wilderness Lodge. These resort properties are in the moderate to deluxe price range and the Disney Dining Plan is available to add on.

I hope this information helps with your planning Jenel.
Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again any time you have additional questions about your plans.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
