Hello again, Adam,
As the current
UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, it's always a pleasure and a delight to welcome a returning fellow British Guest with their questions about visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
In previous years, I've holidayed many times with family members who have been very pleased with all the various thoughtful accommodations provided by Disney for
Guests with Disabilities such as -
-
Services for Guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels -
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities -
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities -
Disability Access Service (DAS) -
Wheelchair Rentals It might be useful to understand that the Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed for Guests who find it difficult to tolerate waiting within a traditional queue environment. Guests are welcome to apply to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) by simply stopping by a
Guest Relations location within a Disney Theme Park where Cast Members are able to discuss a Guests own particular needs.
It's also possible to ask any specific disability questions that you may have to Cast Members by emailing:
disability.services@disneyparks.comAdam, I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide a few pixie-dusted pointers to enable you to better plan towards a jolly holiday staying at one of Disney's All-Star Resorts. Please do feel free to drop back to
me here at planDisney if you should have any additional enquiries that I may be able to help you with.
Have a great Disney day ~
Jane
