Welcome to planDisney, Ralph! It seems you took advantage of one of my favorite pieces of advice I give to anyone cruising with Disney, so I’m glad you already know the secret and that I can help you take advantage of it today.
After you
booked your Placeholder onboard, you should have received an email confirmation. Within that confirmation email is your Placeholder reservation number and the date you booked it.
If for some reason you can’t locate the email (and that’s happened to the best of us!), have no fear. Like Andy’s toys, sometimes those things get lost under the bed, or in this case, in a random folder in our inbox. You can also
call a Disney Cruise Line representative and they would be happy to help look it up for you. This would also be a good time to ask questions about future sailings or even book your reservation.
I don’t have to tell you there are a lot of exciting happenings taking place with Disney Cruise Line these days. The
Disney Destiny is set to sail later this year and the
Disney Adventure will be departing from its home port of Singapore for the first time this December.
You likely already know that you have 24 months to use the 10% discount you secured by making a Placeholder in the first place. If you cannot book a sailing within that period, your deposit will be refunded to your original form of payment.
Adventure is out there and the sea is calling. Now it’s just up to you when to answer. If you have any other questions that come up before your next trip, I hope to hear from you again here at
planDisney.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
