Hi Laura,
Welcome back to planDisney! It's so wonderful to see that you're returning with more questions as you plan your Disneyland Resort stay. We love helping Guests plan, and it's really common to have lots of questions about how to make the most of your plans. So, thanks for coming back to see us again, and thanks for another great question!
One of the enhancements that the Disneyland Resort introduced recently is
the ability for Guests to both purchase theme park tickets and make theme park reservations at the same time. This enhancement makes the whole process for tickets and reservations more convenient, and offers some peace of mind.
When you use the
Theme Park Tickets & Reservations tool, you will see the option "To purchase a ticket and make a park reservation." The system will prompt you to make selections for the number of days you want to visit the theme parks and for the number of tickets you'll need (both for ages 10+ and ages 3-9). You'll also be prompted to select your ticket type (One Park Per Day or Park Hopper). The next step to "Reserve Your Ticket Dates" is where you'll select the dates for your theme park reservations, and you'll see availability for your ticket selections. Keep in mind that the theme park reservations are only confirmed after you have completed the ticket purchase process.
So, Laura, this new approach makes it easier to purchase theme park tickets and make theme park reservations for your family. I hope this helps you with your question. If you feel you'd like additional assistance with your ticket purchasing, you can reach out to the the Disneyland Resort by calling (714) 520-5027. And if we here at planDisney can help you with your plans, please do come back again with your questions.
Here's wishing you a wonderful stay at the
Disneyland Resort!
Jerry
