Where do I look to see if my magic band is active.

Hi there, Audrey! Welcome to planDisney where we are always happy to answer your Disney vacation planning questions! How exciting that you will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth next month!!

I happen to love MagicBands and always wear one when visiting the theme parks! You can check to see if your MagicBand is active by logging in to your My Disney Experience account. If you are on a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet, visit the Walt Disney World website and select "My Disney Experience" at the top right corner of the screen. After you log in, select "My Magic Bands and Cards." Any Magic Band(s) that you own and have previously linked should be visible on the screen. If you do not see your MagicBand, you can link it by entering the code on the back of the band. If you prefer to check the status of your MagicBand using a mobile device, first download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Next, tap the three bars in the lower right corner. Then, scroll down and select "My Profile" and tap "MagicBands & Cards." On the next screen, select "Your MagicBands & Cards" to view your linked MagicBand(s). If you do not see your MagicBand listed, you can go to the previous screen and select "Link a MagicBand or Card."

MagicBands are such a great Disney accessory and perfect for unlocking the magic! If you happen to be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can unlock your resort hotel room door with your MagicBand! You can also set up your MagicBand to be used to charge purchases at your resort hotel, the theme parks, and at select locations at Disney Springs. I especially love how easy it is to scan it for entry into the theme parks and when I want to use Disney PhotoPass Service for capturing magical moments!

As you are planning, be sure to check out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! This is my favorite festival and the perfect way to kick off Spring! I like to skip breakfast and head straight to the Outdoor Kitchens to eat and drink my way around World Showcase! Be sure to see all of the beautiful gardens and amazing topiary displays and enjoy some great music at The Garden Rocks Concert Series!

The magic awaits you and I hope your Walt Disney World Resort vacation during The Walt Disney 50th Anniversary Celebration is a special one! If you have any additional questions as you are planning, please stop by planDisney again!

    Happy Planning!
