Hello how do I look into getting Disney after hour tickets? I’m in the Anaheim area. I would love to attend the after hour even and just need more info on how to obtain it

    Hi there, Ashley!

I have traveled to various locations in Southern California many times on business trips. What makes it all worthwhile is that after work, I'm only a short drive away from The Happiest Place on Earth. Often, I only have enough time to enjoy a delicious meal or snack and stroll through the theme parks to experience an attraction or two. But it is such a joy to decompress after work with the bright lights and smiling faces I find at the Disneyland Resort.

If you happen to be participating in a meeting or convention in the Anaheim area, you will want to check with the event organizers to see if they are making available specially-priced theme park tickets to the Disneyland Resort for their event attendees. Otherwise, to enjoy an evening at the Disneyland Resort theme parks, you may purchase a regular theme park ticket. Purchasing directly from Disneyland's website will also automatically include booking the required theme park reservation to go along with your ticket.

During the glowing summer evenings, you may enjoy late-night hours at the Disneyland Resort, with Disney California Adventure Park usually open until 10 PM and Disneyland Park usually open until midnight each day. There are even some special late-night dining offerings available at restaurants like Galactic Grill and Red Rose Taverne. With so much to enjoy at the Disneyland Resort after the sun goes down, the value of a theme park ticket is even greater.

During other seasons of the year, you may find opportunities to enjoy separately-ticketed events that happen after regular park hours are over. These include themed Disneyland After Dark events and Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates on these special events.

If you would like to enjoy the magic of the Disneyland Resort without a theme park ticket, there is much to see, hear, and eat at the Downtown Disney District and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. One of my favorite locations to visit is Salt & Straw. Before I experienced the gourmet flavors at Salt & Straw, I never knew how much I could love ice cream!

I hope you enjoy as much of the magic and adventure of the Disneyland Resort as possible, Ashley!
