Hi Kathleen! Can you believe we are just days away from the return of the Disneyland nighttime spectaculars?! I just got chills writing that! I have missed the skies above both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park igniting with magic each and every night. While a visit to the Disneyland Resort is always special, there is just something about those evening spectacles that bring outbursts of joy and nostalgia!
It's going to be a good week ... topped with the return of the
World of Color Dessert Party! Enjoy unlimited sweet and savory treats (and Mickey crispies!), beverages, and your very own reserved seating and preferred viewing area in Paradise Gardens Park. According to the
Disney Parks Blog, reservations for this particular event will open up on April 20th. I would be at the ready bright and early. There was no time announced for when these would officially be available, so be ready with some fast fingers. I have a feeling these will go quickly as everyone is SO excited about their return!
We also learned this week that there will be a virtual queue for Guests looking to experience
World of Color without the dessert party. While anyone can view the show around Paradise Bay, the best, roped-off viewing areas will be reserved for those within the
virtual queue. If you have a valid ticket and theme park reservation, the virtual queue will open at 12 p.m. via the Disneyland Mobile App. You will need to have scanned into Disney California Adventure Park with a One Park Per Day Ticket or Park Hopper Ticket OR Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper Ticket before noon to access the queue. Once you have joined, you will receive a notification through the app to return approximately 45 minutes before showtime to one of the 2 marked Blue or Yellow entrances. If you are unable to secure a spot in the virtual queue, arrive at the area 45 minutes ahead of time and speak to one of the Cast Members to see if there is available access. Otherwise, pick a spot around Paradise Bay and enjoy!
To get excited about your visit, take a little time to check out the
Nighttime Spectacular Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog and tune in to the new
planDisney Podcast! A new episode is dropping this week that I think you will enjoy!
Kathleen, magic awaits! If you have any more questions, feel free to come back to see us here at
planDisney.
Never stop dreaming!
