Hiya Jacqueline,
Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting planDisney! I love the way you are thinking by looking at each of the Disney Resort before making your final decision. That is a fabulous idea, especially at Disney World, where each resort has its own unique theme, personality, and extra sprinkle of pixie dust.
So, let’s jump right into your question and get this vacation planning adventure started! There are currently more than
25 Disney Resort hotels to choose from in the Disney Resorts Collection, and there are a few great ways to view the rooms before booking.
First, you can visit the Disney World website and select “Places to Stay.” From there, you can view the
Disney Resort hotel options, choose a resort, and then look through photos of the different room types available.
Another great option is to take a virtual room tour right from the Walt Disney World website. Once you select a resort hotel, head to the Room Rates page and look for the “View Gallery” button, after selecting it, you should see a drop-down menu for image categories. Choose “Virtual Tours,” and you may be able to view a virtual tour of the room category you are considering. It is such a wonderful way to get a feel for the space before you bibbidi bobbidi book your stay!
My absolute favorite option is visiting my pals over at planDisney in the
video library. There, you can find select room and resort tours, as well as videos highlighting amenities. I have attached one to your question so you can take a closer look at
Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a wild way to explore before you go!
Staying at a Disney Resort truly adds an extra layer of magic to your vacation. There are so many wonderful benefits, like
complimentary transportation,
Early Theme Park Entry, and so much to enjoy right from your resort. I always suggest first deciding whether you would like to stay at a
Value,
Moderate,
Deluxe, or
Deluxe Villa Resort, or even at a campground. Then, think about location. Would you love being able to walk to
EPCOT? Is the monorail more your style? Are you dreaming of a savanna view or a boat ride to
Magic Kingdom? These questions can really help you narrow down your search.
Jacqueline, I hope this helps answer your question and gives you a great place to start. No matter which Disney Resort you choose, I am sure your stay will be practically perfect in every way! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
