Welcome to planDisney, Rebekah! It’s a pleasure to answer your question.
It looks like we have something in common: We both love sailing with Disney Cruise Line! Being a loyal
Castaway Club Member, I bet you've seen all the ways guests try to make their vacation at sea extra special. From unofficial gift exchanges to
adding flair to their stateroom doors with magnets, it's awesome to see everyone’s creativity shine!
It's wonderful that you have such a generous spirit, aiming to sprinkle some pixie dust and bring joy to the children onboard. On my most recent sailing, I noticed Crew Members removing ducks when they were cleaning. I contacted Disney Cruise Line, and they shared that their policy has stayed the same. Guests cannot hide things, such as rubber ducks, in staterooms or public areas. Unfortunately, the counselors in the kids’ clubs are unable to distribute any gifts. However, there are still plenty of other ways to spread magic and create memorable moments for others on your cruise!
I've had guests surprise us with glow necklaces during
Pirate Night, and they were a huge hit with my son. Some of the best pixie dust experiences I've had onboard include these unexpected and delightful gestures. Even the simple act of offering to take a picture of my family when they see me struggling to fit us all into a selfie has brought a smile to my face. While Donald may be the only duck in the spotlight on your cruise, any act of kindness is appreciated.
Rebekah, please waddle back to planDisney if any more questions come floating by. We are delighted to share our best tips and tricks with you.
