How long does it take to get to Magic Kingdom each morning when staying in Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Jon!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you are using the resort's complementary transportation system, it shouldn't take you longer than 45 minutes door to door. My family and I have stayed at the fabulously themed Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL), and we didn't experience any difficulty with Disney's transportation to/from Disney Theme Parks. If you have your own car, you it might take you up to 35 minutes to commute between AKL and Magic Kingdom.

Since you are staying at AKL, I recommend dining at Boma - Flavors of Africa. Read more about it HERE. Don't miss the Campfire African Folktales either! Read more about African Folktales HERE . Other amazing resort recreation offerings at AKL include Night Vision viewing of animals featuring special night vision goggles. This activity takes place each night, weather permitting, from 9 to 11 p.m. Cast Members lead guests from behind the Jambo House Pool to the savannah to view the animals. Looking through night vision goggles is just like you see in the movies, where everything looks green!

Have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
