How long does it take to get to the Magic Kingdom from Art and Animation Resort?

    Happy New Year, John!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Transportation questions are among my favorites.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is between six and seven miles from the Magic Kingdom. In my experience, the bus ride between these two locations takes approximately twenty minutes. (Be sure to factor in a little extra time as the Magic Kingdom-bound bus at Disney's Art of Animation Resort may not have arrived yet when you get to the resort bus stop.) The bus will then drop you off right at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom.

Driving your own vehicle will take a bit longer as you will park in the lot across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom. Then you will board either a monorail or ferry boat to enter the Magic Kingdom. That will take an additional ten to fifteen minutes.

Enjoy your day in the Magic Kingdom!
