How long does it take to get to magic kingdom, animal kingdom, Hollywood studios and Epcot from Art of Animation Hotel? And, when do the buses start running? Thank you so much!

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kathleen, and welcome to planDisney. We love making Disney's Art of Animation Resort our "home away from home" because of the Big Blue Pool, family suites, Elephant Graveyard, and of course, easy access to the Disney Skyliner.

Travel time depends on the method of travel. Let's look at the most direct routes using complimentary Disney Resort Transportation via the Walt Disney World Bus Service and the Disney Skyliner. All Resort transportation begins about 45 minutes before the theme park opens with the greatest frequency at the beginning and end of the day when the largest number of Guests need it.

From Disney's Art of Animation Resort to:

    • Magic Kingdom Park - Bus - 20-25 minutes once on the bus
    • EPCOT - Skyliner - 25 minutes of flight time with a transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Terminal
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios - Skyliner - 15 minutes of flight time with a transfer to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Terminal
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - Bus - 20-25 minutes once on the bus
I budget an extra 20 minutes in case I need to wait for a bus or the Disney Skyliner Terminals are packed.

Kathleen, I hope this information helps you get hither, thither, and yon at the "Place Where Dreams Come True." Please feel free to write planDisney again for more Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
