Hiya Olympia and welcome to planDisney!
Performing in The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like the most fun ever. It's even more fun when your family is there to enjoy the magic with you. Y'all sound like you have a pretty fun-filled day ahead of you. Let's get you on the move all day with ease.
When driving it's only about a 10-15 minute commute from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to
Disney Springs. But don't get so caught up on
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain that you feel like you'll get there in no time! I like to designate an hour of travel time when I have somewhere to be on the Walt Disney World Property. Picture it. You'll need time to exit the park, find the car in the parking lot, drive the distance to Disney Springs(hoping there's no traffic), find a parking spot that may or may not be super close to where you need to be, make it through the security checkpoint, and then walk to where your daughter needs to be. See how that 10-15 minutes just expanded like the Stretching Room in
Haunted Mansion? Definitely give yourself plenty of time for whatever mishaps may happen and make sure that your dancer is where she's supposed to be early.
Pro-tip: Now the dance coach in me wants to tell your dancer not to forget to drink lots of water as the highs are going to be in the 90s all next week and maybe grab a light lunch from
Satu'li Canteen to have good fuel to burn while she tears up the dance floor.
Olympia, I hope I've been able to give you some helpful travel tips. From one performer to another tell your daughter I said break a leg! If you have any other questions,
come on back for another chat.
Happy planning!
Taylor
