How long would it take to get to Cape May Cafe after the 6:30 Fantasmic showing?? I can only get a reservation for 7:05, which seems to be cutting it close, as 7:50 is way to late for my group. Willing to take a taxi. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Hi Michele:

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your reservation does seem pretty close to the end of Fantasmic! but I think you could make it to Cape May Cafe just in time, provided you can move pretty quickly between experiences.  My suggestion would be to sit near toward the back for Fantasmic! (don't worry, it will still be a great view) in order to leave just as the show is ending.  This way you will avoid the crowds on your way out of Disney's Hollywood Studios making it much faster to get to your destination.  My recommendation would be to walk to Disney's Beach Club Resort, there is a path at the exit the theme park, simply follow the signs - it should take around 15 minutes to walk, or shortly less if you are moving at a faster pace.  I suggested walking because wait times can be unpredictable for taxis as well as waiting for the boat to Disney's Beach Club.

Realistically, you may be a few minutes late for your dinner reservation, so if you don't like feeling rushed, I would recommend changing one or the other.  You will need to move quickly, but if you and your family are fine with that, I say keep your reservation and enjoy both Fantasmic! and dinner at Cape May Cafe!
