How long will it take to get to disney springs by car from magic kingdom?

    Hiya Philippa,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your transportation question. How exciting that you’re planning a visit to Disney Springs! My family and I absolutely love spending time there. We were just there yesterday exploring the shops and enjoying a meal at the Rainforest Café. It’s such a fun change of pace while still keeping all that Disney magic.

Let’s jump right into your question. If you’re driving from Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs, the drive itself is typically about 15–18 minutes. However, since parking for Magic Kingdom is at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you’ll want to factor in the time it takes to get back there from the park via monorail or ferryboat before you even start your drive.

If you have a dining reservation or a timed event at Disney Springs, I always recommend giving yourself extra time. Between returning to the Transportation and Ticket Center, possible traffic, special events, and finding parking at Disney Springs, it’s better to arrive early and soak in the atmosphere than to feel rushed. Consider it bonus time to browse or grab a sweet treat.

While you’re there, I highly recommend stepping into World of Disney. It’s the largest Disney merchandise store in the world and truly feels like stepping into a treasure trove of pixie-dusted finds. You’ll discover things you didn’t even know you needed.

Philippa, I hope this helps you plan your visit. If you have any other questions, feel free to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
