Is it a long walk from the Wilderness Lodge Villas to the main pool at the Wilderness Lodge? I was told by someone that you have to take a bus from the villas to the main pool. Also, are the WLV (2BR) good place for 4 & 5 yr old?

    Hi Kim!

The walk from the Wilderness Lodge Villas to the main themed pool at the Wilderness Lodge is not far at all. This is a very compact resort and the Villas are extremely close to all of the amenities, including the main pool, Silver Creek Springs.

The person that told you about the bus must have been referring to another resort, possibly Old Key West which is a beautiful but sprawling resort with vacation villa accommodations.

The Wilderness Lodge Villas are an excellent choice for a stay with young children. You will truly enjoy having the two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room area and kitchen. The in-room laundry facilities can really be helpful too. You'll also have access to the quiet pool as well as bike rentals, playground (in the sand), and water launch transportation to the Magic Kingdom.

Staying in the villas you'll have space to relax plus all of the amenities of the Wilderness Lodge are only moments away.
