Hi! Is is a long walk from river belle terrace going to the rising moon fireworks? Thank you!

Hello, Iza, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip is just around the corner – can you already smell the churros and hear the Disneyland Band performing? I've walked from Frontierland to Galaxy's Edge many times, so I can certainly provide some insights!

River Belle Terrace is a charming spot known for its hearty comfort food. From there, the most direct route to Galaxy’s Edge is the path along Thunder Mountain. Depending on crowd levels and your pace, the walk typically takes about 10–15 minutes to reach the area near the Millennium Falcon.

Iza, did you know that River Belle Terrace currently offers a Fantasmic! Dining Package that pairs the meal with a premium viewing spot for the show? I adore Fantasmic! – there's nothing quite like watching Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice use the power of his imagination to save the day. And as a bonus, the Rivers of America is a great place to watch the Disneyland fireworks, so depending on the entertainment schedule, you may be able to conveniently catch it there before or after the show without having to travel far.

That said, the nighttime shows over at Galaxy's Edge are also really wonderful. There's a stunning new projection show called Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga. It takes storytelling and special effects to new heights. And of course, Fire of the Rising Moons puts a galactic spin on the Disneyland fireworks, with iconic music from a galaxy far, far, away. Both of these shows are popular and may occur close together depending on the day of the week and season, so you'd want to arrive well before the show.

Iza, I suggest checking the Hours & Events calendar to see what the entertainment schedule will be when you visit. Depending on the times, you may be able to plan your itinerary to catch a few of the nighttime shows, with time for a meal, too. Which you choose is up to you! And Iza, if you are a Star Wars fan, make sure to check out the special offerings for Season of the Force, which is happening now through May 11, 2025.

I hope this information has sprinkled a little pixie dust on your plans, Iza! Please let us know if you have any other questions between now and your visit. We at planDisney are always happy to help!

    Wishing you magic,
