How long does it take to walk from the entry to the Star Wars area? We have reservations to make light sabers starting at 8:30 am and I don't want to miss them! Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Shantel!

Oh Boy! This is so exciting, I never find anyone with the same name and same spelling as me. It’s like looking through a Magic Mirror

Now, Young Padawan, I will be more than happy to show you the ways of the Force. Building a Lightsaber is such a fun experience. I just purchased a wall holder so that I could mount mine! (TIP: Buy extra Kyber crystals so that you can change the color of your Lightsaber at any time).

Shantel, I did take a look at the Park Hours and found that Disneyland Resort opens at 8:00 a.m. on the day you will be there. I recommend arriving at the park before the park officially opens. That way you have plenty of time to make it through security, the main gate, and towards Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Once in the park, it should only take you about 10 minutes to walk to Savi’s Workshop

I hope this helps give you a general idea of what time to arrive. I always try to leave our hotel 1 hour to 45 minutes before the park’s opening time. That way we have plenty of time to park, go through security, and walk in. Plus, arriving early gives you the perfect chance to take a photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle

May the Force be with you!
