How long of a walk is it from the Disneyland Hotel to the theme parks? Is there a bus/tram or can you catch the monorail from outside the park? Still deciding between a Disney resort or a Good Neighbor hotel.

    Hey Cathy,

Disneyland Hotel is probably my favorite Disneyland Hotel because of it's nostalgically whimsical decor and convenience to the Magic!  The walk to the parks is probably about 10 minutes to the gates via Downtown Disney, but you can always catch the monorail from the Downtown Disney station which is literally steps from the Disneyland Hotel!  The Disneyland monorail will deliver you directly to Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park!

If you're headed to California Adventure, be sure to take advantage of the resort guest entrance located inside the Grand Californian Hotel!  Just walk through Downtown Disney and enter the Grand Californian via the entrance located in between Disney 365 and Sephora.  Once inside, follow the signs to California Adventure!  Be sure to have your room key handy, as this entrance is reserved for the use of resort guests!

    Best Wishes,
