Hi, how long is the walk from Chef Mickey's to the 4th floor observation deck? I want to have dinner there and then walk to the observation deck to watch the fireworks. I just want to make sure I allow myself enough time to walk there.

    Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like you are planning a great evening at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!  My family and I love watching Happily Ever After from the Fourth Floor Observation Deck,  there is so much more space to enjoy the fireworks!

The walk from Chef Mickey’s to the observation deck  is very short, around two minutes, straight across the Resort.  If it is your first time visiting, you may want to leave some extra time.  The walk does have some distractions along the way, including Fantasia Market, Bayview Gifts and The Game Station Arcade.  My daughter always ends up at Fantasia Market, while my husband can usually be found at The Game Station Arcade.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Carolyn.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.

    Stephanie
