    Hello Kelly!

Welcome again to planDisney! Let me help you travel from one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels in Walt Disney World Resort to my favorite Theme Park! Magic Kingdom Park can be the trickiest Park to visit as the parking lot is quite a distance away. A good park strategy for visiting this Park while enjoying Early Theme Park Entry says that you should aim to arrive at least 45 minutes before Early Entry time. According to the Hours & Events Calendar, Early Entry on May 5, 2024, looks to be 8:30 AM so aim to arrive by 7:50 AM.

The drive from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center is approximately 12 minutes. I would assume you have kids as you asked in a prior question about a double stroller so I'm thinking your speed could range from slow if a child refuses to sit in the stroller to very fast if they cooperate and remain in the stroller. I advise, keeping those kids locked in those strollers and staying moving at a good pace. When parking in standard parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center you will get the option to wait for a parking tram to take you to the Security scanning area and your next mode of transportation. You can wait for this tram or you can also walk if you feel feisty. I have to admit, waiting for and using the trams could take about 15 minutes. Trams require strollers to be folded up and if that is an inconvenience then walking may be the best idea. Once you reach the Transportation and Ticket Center you will go through Security which could take another 5-10 minutes. Delays this long could occur if you get pulled to the side for an in-depth bag check. Make sure to avoid this by removing those metal water bottles, hard eyeglass cases, or umbrellas from your bag and holding it all straight out in front of you. The scanners detect unusual metal items so make it obvious you don't have anything dangerous. Don't forget to review the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules so that you don't accidentally bring in a prohibited item. If you make it through security quickly then you have to decide if you want to take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park or the Water Ferry. It seems that you are partial to the Ferry which is always my first choice. It's so relaxing and provides such a lovely view of Cinderella Castle and all the nearby Resorts. The wait for the Ferry to arrive and then the ride to Magic Kingdom Park is about 10 to 20 minutes. If I were to add up all these times, you are looking at about an hour of travel time. I know, it sounds crazy but I did the math. It could be shorter but I always plan for an hour of travel time when heading to Magic Kingdom Park. If I'm early then I'm taking pictures in front of Cinderella Castle. If I'm running on time then I'm set to have a great day.

If you are feeling fancy, I want to also suggest using the Minnie Van™ Service via Lyft. The Minnie Van can bring guests closer to Magic Kingdom Park than any other mode of transportation. It is operated by Cast Members and their drop-off location is near the bus stop location for this Park but closest to the entrance. The Minnie Vans also have two car seats and trunk space for a folded-up stroller.

I hope this helps and you have a magical time! Enjoy the ride and the path to the Parks!

    Happy Planning!
