Hiya Paula!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue question! My family and I were just there last week, and let me tell you, it was a rootin’ tootin’ good time from start to finish. The
food was delicious, my girls were clapping and dancing throughout the whole show, and the icing on top of the strawberry shortcake was my husband getting pulled onstage. They are still talking about it. Truly a core memory moment.
Let’s mosey on into your question about getting there and that all-important walk time. If you are traveling by Disney
transportation from your Disney Resort hotel, plan for a little extra travel time. There may be no direct route from your Disney hotel to
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. You may need to transfer, so giving yourself plenty of time will keep things stress-free.
If you are driving, you will park near the front entrance of Fort Wilderness and then take the internal bus system to Pioneer Hall. I recommend allowing at least 30 extra minutes for that internal bus ride so you can arrive with time to spare before the show begins.
Now for your main question. Once you get off the internal bus at Settlement, where Pioneer Hall is located, the walk to Hoop-Dee-Doo is very short. It is about a 2- to 5-minute walk at a very relaxed pace, even with little ones.
You also have a couple of fun transportation options. You can take the
ferry boat from
Magic Kingdom over to Fort Wilderness, which adds a little extra Disney magic to your evening, or book a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app for a direct drop-off. No matter which way you choose, just be sure to allow enough time so you do not miss a single minute of the show.
Paula, I hope this helps you feel ready for your night of music, laughter, and all-you-care-to-enjoy comfort food. You are going to have such a wonderful time. If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by again.
See you real soon,
Christina
