how long is the wait to get into the gates of disney world if you stay off the resort..such as parking and waiting to get in the gates?

    Hi Terry!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!

The only added time of being a non-Disney Resort Hotel Guest is that of parking and taking transportation to the gate/turnstiles.  At each theme park, you can expect it to take approximately 10 minutes to park your vehicle once you pay for parking.  From there, you can expect another 10-15 minutes to get from your car to the front gate via either walking or taking a tram from the parking lot.  At the Magic Kingdom, there will be an additional 10-15 minutes to take either the Ferryboat or the Monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom.  Once at the ticket turnstiles, you will be in the same lines as those that stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  I would expect to be in the theme parks approximately 25-30 minutes (45 minutes for the Magic Kingdom) after you pay for parking and proceed to park your vehicle!!

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
