How long does it take to get from the Villas at the Grand Floridian to Epcot? Two monorail trains, right? Would it be faster to walk through the Polynesian to the Epcot monorail?

    Hello, Kelly!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner, so I know you must be getting excited. You are definitely in for a treat if you are staying at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It is absolutely spectacular!

In order to get to Epcot from your resort, you will need to take the resort monorail to the Transportation & Ticket Center which is just three short stops away from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. There you will transfer to the Epcot monorail which will get you to your final destination. You could always walk over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and then on to the Transportation & Ticket Center which is located right next to it, but I would highly suggest that you save your energy for all of the walking that you'll be doing at Epcot! The entire trip should probably take around 30 minutes (give or take a bit). Plus, who doesn't love a ride on Disney's "Highway in the Sky"?

I sure hope this helps to answer your question and if you think of anything else, just let us know. Have a magical day and happy planning!
