How long is an unused one day passes good for?

    Hi there, Daisy!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your question about Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. Whether you plan to brave the Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure Park or walk in Walt's footsteps at Disneyland Park, I'm sure your day at The Happiest Place on Earth will be a memorable one!

Daisy, a One Park Per Day ticket will have an expiration date based on when it was purchased. For example, a One Park Per Day ticket purchased today (February 24, 2023) is valid through December 30, 2024. If your question pertains to a theme park ticket you purchased previously, you can reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the Tickets phone line to find out the expiration date of your existing ticket. If a theme park ticket has expired, Hakuna Matata, Daisy. (It means "no worries!") According to the Terms and Conditions for Disneyland Resort theme park tickets, the original amount paid for an unused, expired ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new, unexpired ticket! That means you'd pay any difference between the expired theme park ticket and the new one. Cast Members at the Tickets phone line could help you with this transaction, as well. Daisy, once you've chosen a day to use your theme park ticket, don't forget to make a theme park reservation for your selected date!

If you haven't already, I recommend downloading the Disneyland Resort mobile app ahead of your day in the theme park and linking your theme park admission to your Disney account. This will allow you to scan your phone for entry into the theme park and utilize helpful resources like Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering and Disney Genie service. Daisy, there's no better time to visit because the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort is happening now! The fan-favorite "Magic Happens" Parade has returned to Disneyland Park and World of Color - ONE has debuted at Disney California Adventure Park. Which theme park will you choose to visit with your ticket!? As Ursula would say, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?"

Daisy, I hope this information is helpful to you as you plan your perfect Disneyland day. I'm wishing you an enchanting time at The Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any additional planning questions, please stop back by planDisney anytime - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
