How long typically does it take to get to Magic Kingdom from the SS Treehouses? And what is the best means of transportation? And what is the fastest way to get to other resorts from ours- Going to Downtown or to a particular park?

    Hi Brittany,

A stay at the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa sounds like so much fun!  The Treehouse Villas are so rustic and spacious.  What a great place to spend your vacation.

Part of the allure of the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is their secluded and peaceful location.  Because they have this location, it can also take a little longer to get to other destinations at Walt Disney World.  This is okay, just plan a little extra time!  Using Disney transportation, I would allow yourself a good 45 minutes to an hour to get to any of the Disney theme parks.  You will need to take a bus to get to any of the theme parks.  There are buses that come to stops in the Treehouse Villas area; however, you will need to take them a bus stop in the main area of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa where you can transfer to a bus to your destination.  Heading to Downtown Disney from the Treehouse Villas is quite easy - you can catch a boat right in the Treehouse Villa area which will take you to Downtown Disney.

To get from resort to resort will always take at least two forms of transportation if you are relying on Disney transportation.  You can take the boat to Downtown Disney and then a bus to the resort you are going to, or you can take a bus from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to any theme park and then catch transportation to your final resort destination.  When it comes to resort-to-resort transportation, I generally take a taxi.  Even though this will cost a little extra money, the cost it not typically too high, and the time it saves can be large.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Brittany.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
