How long does it typically take to have breakfast at Chef Mickey.? We have reservations after Animal Kingdom opens (that's the park we are doing that day) and was trying to plan when we would get to the park for our Fast Passes?

Hello Leslie!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Chef Mickey's for breakfast is a lot of fun, you are going t have a great time!  I would allow anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half to enjoy your breakfast.  The meal itself goes quickly rather quickly due to the all-you-care-to-enjoy style.  However, the characters that come around is what can make the time vary. The interaction time depends not only on how long you spend with the characters but how long other tables take as well.  When planning your FastPass+ selection times, also take into consideration the 15-20 minute bus ride from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Have a magical day, Leslie.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
