    How long before my trip can I cancel a resort My grandson who's bday but now he is sick Can I cancel and reschedule later or do I have to reschedule now

    Welcome to planDisney, Lisa! I'm sorry to hear that your grandson is sick and you're thinking about postponing your vacation. Since you'll need to jump into action right away, let's get into it and chat about what the next steps are. 

    Lisa, I recommend that you get on the phone with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations as soon as possible. They will be able to let you know what your options are and how you can go about canceling or rescheduling your trip if that's what you need to do. For cancellations made 1 day or less prior to your arrival, the full price of the package is non-refundable so it's a good idea to think of a few dates that you might be willing to move your vacation to in case rescheduling your trip instead of canceling it might save you some money. When you call, a friendly Disney Cast Member will walk you through what changes you can make and help you come to the best decision for your family!
