How long is the travel time from animal kingdom lodge to MK or the other parks? My toddler will need a nap midday but with all my FP and meal reservations not sure how to schedule in travel time to be back to where we need to be. Thanks for this resource!

    Hi Shandell,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort.   You are going to love it there!

I always allow myself at least one-hour of travel time to get around Walt Disney World Resort, but here's an idea of average travel times between Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and the theme parks.

Magic Kingdom Park - approximately 22 minutes by bus
Epcot - approximately 18 minutes by bus
Disney's Hollywood Studios - approximately 15 minutes by bus
Disney's Animal Kingdom - approximately  11 minutes by bus

When my son was a toddler,  he would usually nap in his stroller.  While he napped, my husband and I would take turns riding some of our favorite rides.  We also took many breaks at the Baby Care Centers located within all 4 theme parks.  Not only are the Baby Care Centers wonderful, quiet places, but they also provide great amenities for parents including nursing areas, changing rooms and even a small shop should you need extra supplies.  When we would head back to our Resort for a longer break, we would typically head out of the parks after lunch at around 12:00 p.m. and return for the evening at around 4:00 p.m.

I hope you find this information useful.  If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know.

    Happy travels.
