    How long does it take to travel from the Polynesian, where we are staying, to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner (around 6pm). We will be at the Animal Kingdom that day. Or should we go straight to the Lodge from the park?

    Hi Amy!  It will depend on how long you want to stay at the Animal Kingdom park but leaving right from there to the Wilderness Lodge is quite easy. You would simply head for the buses around 5:00pm and take the Wilderness Lodge bus directly to the resort.

    If you finish the park early and want to head back to the Polynesian you will then have an abundant amount of choices for getting to the Wilderness Lodge.  The quickest is to take a car or taxi which would be about an 8 minute ride.  If you would want to do something a bit more adventurous and different you can take the boat to the Magic Kingdom and then switch to the Wilderness Lodge boat. This trip would take approximately 35 minutes but gives the kids a chance to use the boats.  You can also take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and transfer to the Wilderness bus.  Finally, you can walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center and catch the Wilderness bus which is about a 35 minute trip as well.
