How long does it take to travel from the Polynesian hotel to Cape May

Hey there, David! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.

It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation starts tomorrow. Woo hoo! I bet you're super duper excited. You’ll be immersed in the magic in less than 24 hours, so let’s get you the info you need to navigate the Vacation Kingdom of the World.

If you haven’t already downloaded the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device, make sure you do so ASAP. Not only does it allow you to make reservations and manage your tickets, but it can also provide step-by-step directions and travel time estimates to most Walt Disney World locations. You can get directions by tapping a location on the map or searching for it on the search page, and then selecting “Get Directions.”

Estimated travel times will vary based on when you are venturing from the Polynesian Village Resort to Cape May Cafe at Beach Club Resort. At the time I’m writing this, the My Disney Experience app estimates it would take 55 minutes via complimentary bus service. It suggests that you walk from the Polynesian Village Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center next door, and then take a bus to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, from which you can walk to Cape May Cafe.

If you have valid theme park admission, the app also suggests that you could go to the Transportation and Ticket Center and board the monorail to EPCOT. Once at EPCOT, you’d walk through the park and exit at the International Gateway to reach the Beach Club Resort. My Disney Experience estimates this to be an approximately 44-minute journey.

I hope this info helps get you where you need to go, David. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
