Hey there, Connie! Thanks for coming to see us over here at planDisney!
While it's never fun to have to reschedule a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, I like to think of it as just putting a slight pause in the magic! I have also pushed a few trips for myself and my family so I know how you must be feeling. I have found it helpful to have a backup trip on the books (which has also been pushed a time or two!), but knowing and planning help me to keep dreaming about all the fun in store for us!
Let's start with finding out the expiration date on those tickets. This will depend on when they were purchased.
Tickets purchased this year have an expiration date of December 30, 2023 for single-day tickets and January 12, 2024 for multi-day tickets. If you have older tickets, there may be a different date for you. You should be able to see your expiration date either on the original email confirmation you received at the time of purchase, or let's find it together in your account. On the
Disneyland Mobile App, navigate to "Tickets and Passes" and you should see it just below the bar code. If you are on the website, make your way to "
My Disneyland" and go into your profile. The expiration date should be there under "Memberships and Passes". If for some reason your tickets expire before you can use them, don't worry! Did you know each ticket comes with its own supply of pixie dust that never runs out? You can always apply the value of a ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket. If this is the case for you, give our
Guest Services team a ring!
As you start to think about when to plan your visit, there is a lot to look forward to at the Disneyland Resort in the seasons ahead! Early spring sees the return of the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival from March 4 - April 26, 2022! Eat and sip your way through all the best California has to offer while visiting Lightning McQueen in Cars Land, the Incredibles in Pixar Pier, and your favorite Super Heroes in Avengers Campus. It's also been announced that later this spring, the nighttime spectaculars will be BACK! Fantasmic!, World of Color, and even the Main Street Electrical Parade! Keep your eyes peeled on the
Disney Parks Blog for more news on exactly when these will be lighting up that Disneyland nighttime sky! The fall is my absolute favorite time to visit with seasonal treats (hello pumpkin-flavored Mickey Beignets!),
Halloween Time, Oogie Boogie Bash, and Haunted Mansion Holiday! And truly, you can't beat the jolliness of the holidays at the Disneyland Resort.
Well, Connie, the magic is waiting for you when the time is right. In the meantime, I know my family has enjoyed making some Disneyland recipes, listening to park atmosphere music, and just chatting about which attraction will be our first the next time we hit the parks. It helps to keep that spark of magic burning at home to get you through to your next trip.
