    How long are tickets good for after purchase, if unused? I want to purchase them once a month but obviously concerned about them expiring before I use them.

    Hi, Kristine!

    Tickets for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park are good for 13 days after their first use. You are a smart traveler for being aware of expiration dates of when that first date needs to start by. Per the website, if purchasing tickets today: 

    One-day tickets are valid now through December 31, 2018.

    The first day of use of multi-day tickets must be on or before December 31, 2018. Multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 13, 2019, whichever occurs first.

    So as long as that magical vacation to the Disneyland Resort is sometime in 2018, the expiration date will work fine with your travel plans. If you dates are not until 2019, hold off on any purchases at this time. 

    I like to plan ahead for my Disney vacations by purchasing Disney Gift Cards. I buy a few each month and set them in a safe place until my vacation. Once at the Disneyland Resort, I use my gift cards to pay for food, souvenirs, and any other Disney "necessity" that may pop up - you know how it is when that darling Disney hoodie is just calling your name!
