Hey there, Liz. A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you. Thanks for stopping by to share this question with us. I'm so sorry to hear that you won't be able to visit the Disneyland Resort as you originally planned. Not to worry, there's flexibility built into your theme park tickets and I'm delighted to help.
If you recently purchased your tickets through the Disneyland site, a one-day ticket is valid through December 30, 2025, and multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2026, whichever happens first. It's always safest to check your actual tickets, so let's double-check just to make sure.
If you still have your email confirmation from your purchase, the expiration date is provided in that email. If you don't, no worries. Open the
Disneyland app and tap on the "☰" to open the menu followed by tapping the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Here you will see all theme park tickets purchased with your Disney account and the expiration date listed underneath the barcode. If you aren't able to locate the expiration here, you can always reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the
Tickets phone line for assistance.
Even if you aren't able to find time to reschedule your visit before your tickets expire, no need to fret.
Wholly unused theme park tickets (excluding special event tickets) can be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket as long as the cost of the new ticket is greater than or equal to the price paid for the original ticket.
I hope this helps, Liz. The magic will always be waiting for you whenever you are ready. And did you see the
2024 event calendar for the Disneyland Resort that was posted today on the Disney Parks Blog? This will be even more helpful when looking for a time to reschedule. If you think of anything else that we can help with, please come back to ask us. Until then, I hope everything is okay and that you will be able to reschedule your magical visit soon.
