Hi! how long does it takes to reach Boardwalk by car from the AoA? and wich other transportation do we have from it? Is there any activity do we have to consider as we travel with a baby of 2 years old?

    Hi Laura,

It will take approximately six minutes to drive from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's BoardWalk Inn Resort.

If you wanted to make this journey using Disney's complimentary transportation service, your best bet would be to either take a bus from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Downtown Disney and then transfer to another bus going to Disney's BoardWalk Inn Resort or to take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then walk from there to Disney's BoardWalk Inn Resort.

There is a fantastic transportation wizard tool which I like to use available at www.ourlaughingplace.com.

It allows you to enter where you will be travelling to and from within Walt Disney World and then provides details on the best route(s) to take as well as giving an indication of the amount of time that the journey will take. I would add an extra 20 minutes onto each estimated time to allow for the time which may be spent waiting for your designated mode of transport to arrive.

There will be lots of attractions which you will be able to enjoy with your little one.I would recommend that you have a look at the Rides & Attractions for All Ages section on the Walt Disney World website as a starting point.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
