How long is the Symphony in the Stars fireworks show? It has a start time of 8:30 pm for the day we will be there. We'd like to have a dessert at Beaches & Cream after the fireworks show, if possible. What time should we make the reservation?

    Hey, Kristine!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You trip is so soon and I can sense your excitement. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to feel the Force, to see the Force and to experience the Power of the Force? I did and the closest I have come is the Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular.

Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks showcase is out-of-this-world fantastic. Star Wars music accompanying multi-colored fireworks change to reflect both the Light and Dark Sides of the Force. As the sky is illuminated, sound clips from the Star Wars Saga guide you along the epic journey.

It will take you about 25 minutes to walk or take the boat from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Beaches and Cream Soda Shop nestled in Disney's Beach Club Resort. I would make my reservation for 60 minutes after the start of the show to allow plenty of travel time.

Disney Dad Tip: The ideal place to both see and hear the show is along Hollywood Boulevard. The fireworks will span the horizon above The Great Movie Ride during the 15-minute showcase.

May the Force and delicious flavors be with you.

Kristine, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
