Long story short... I'm lil sister has type 1 diabetes and she's been talking to a Dr about the new insulin ports and he said that amusement parks let diabetics skip the lines? Does anyone know if this is true?!

Hi, Nadia!  What your sister's doctor may be referring to is the Guest Assistance Card, which is available at Guest Services in any of the theme parks.  The card does not allow you to skip the lines, but it may help make your sister's visit more comfortable.

The Guest Assistance Card basically enables cast members to make an accommodation, where available, to make your sister's wait more comfortable.  If she has difficulty standing, they may have you wait where she can sit down.  If there is a problem with crowds and a risk of the port being bumped or dislodged, they can have you wait in an area away from the general lines to minimize her risk of injury or discomfort.  In some cases, they can provide entrance to the Fast Pass line if that accommodation will be of any benefit.

It may help your sister to have a note from her doctor explaining what her limitations are so that the best available accommodations can be made for her.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
