How long does it take for the shuttle to get from French Quarter to each of the parks? Magic Kingdom? Hollywood Studios? Epcot? Animal Kingdom?

Hello, Melody, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

With lush, green landscapes, paved paths and horse-drawn carriage rides, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a beautiful Walt Disney World Resort hotel with lots of unique touches. (Um, hello? Did someone say Mickey-shaped Beignets?)

When you're ready to leave the peaceful tranquility of the French Quarter, though, you'll be just a few minutes away from the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. From the French Quarter to Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can expect a 15-20 minute bus ride. Your journey to Epcot or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park might take a little longer, so I would plan for up to 30 minutes to reach those destinations. You can also take a bus or a boat directly to Disney Springs. Either of those options should take between 15 and 20 minutes as well. Walt Disney World Resort buses typically run every 20 minutes, and new digital monitors at each bus stop will let you know when you can expect the next one to arrive.

While you can generally expect an actual travel time between 15 and 30 minutes when going from destination to destination, it's typically best to give yourself at least an hour to get from one location to another--especially if dining reservations or making it in time for your FastPass+ window are involved.

Hopefully this answers your question, Melody. Let us know how else we can help you plan!
