Hi, Kelly! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
As a child, I was a big fan of the Muppets, and I still adore them as an adult. I'm so glad that Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the gang have found a home at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests can see the Muppets put their own hilarious spin on famous historical events in
The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History. There are two different versions of this show. One deals with the events leading to the Declaration of Independence, and the other tells about the ride of Paul Revere. These shows consist of songs and sketches and last approximately 10 minutes. The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History is performed multiple times throughout the day. You can find the show times on the Walt Disney World website, in the
Magic Kingdom Park times guide, or by using your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Guests wishing to watch the show should gather in the area outside
The Hall of Presidents. The Muppets perform from the second story windows in this area. Since the characters are up high, they can easily be seen from any spot in the crowd. Therefore, I think that as long as you arrive in the Liberty Square area around 10 minutes prior to the listed show time, you should be able to find a great spot to view the show.
If you enjoy the Muppets, you will also want to check out
Muppet*Vision 3D at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. While you're there, stop by
PizzeRizzo for a bite to eat.
I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Samantha
