    How long does a round trip on the monorail take from the Contemporary? We have dinner reservations at The Wave at 6:30 PM and I thought it would be fun to do after dinner. Just wanted to ride around and see the park the day before we actually visit.

    A Monorail ride after dinner is a great way to end your night. 

    It takes about 15-20 minutes to make a complete trip on the Resort Monorail! This gives you a peek in at the Magic Kingdom without actually walking through the gates onto Main Street. If you want to add to your ride, you could exit the resort Monorail at the Ticket and Transportation System and walk up to the Epcot Monorail. This ride through Epcot is about 10-15 minutes total and really gives you a gander into this theme park! You'll be able to look down at Future World and ride past Spaceship Earth! 

    A Monorail ride is always a request for my little ones, and I actually enjoy it as much as they do! 

    Be sure to check the time before you head to the Monorail, as the transportation system ends about an hour after the parks have closed.

    Enjoy your dinner at The Wave... of American Flavors! If you have room for dessert, try the Chocolate Flight!
