How long does it take to get from port orleans french quarter to disney springs?

Hi there Kim! We are so very honored that you have chosen the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We know how exciting, yet overwhelming planning that picture perfect trip can be and are happy that you came to us for advice!

You have selected a beautiful, tranquil Disney Resort hotel with Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter! You are lucky in that you can board a Ferry boat and take a scenic boat ride along the Sassagoula River, past the Treehouse Villas and the rest of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and all the way to Disney Springs. This ferry boat ride can take 15- 20 minutes approximately, and keep in mind that you might have to wait for a ferry boat. These boats start running around 10am, and I am told that the last boat is at 11:30pm (hours of operation subject to change). If you are traveling outside of these hours, skip ahead to my next suggestions.

Walt Disney World Resort offers excellent Complimentary Resort Transportation, including a great bus service. You can hop onto a bus to Disney Springs directly from the bus stop at your Disney Resort hotel and once aboard, it should take approximately 20 minutes to arrive to the shopping, dining, and entertainment offered at Disney Springs.

Finally, if you have your own vehicle, a rental car or plan to take a taxi, Uber or Lyft, Disney Springs is but a 10-minute drive away!

I hope my answer is helpful and that you have a magical time,

    Jen
