How long does it take to get from Pop Century resort to Animal kingdom on Extra magic hours starting at 8 am. Wondering what time we should get to the bus stop in the morning if we want to get to the park at 7:15?

    Hi Alicia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If you plan to take the bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park from Disney's Pop Century Resort, the actual driving time is approximately 20 minutes.  However, the Walt Disney World Bus Service starts running from Disney Resort hotels around 45 minutes before park opening.  This means the service begins at 7.15am on the day you are visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.    The only way to be sure of arriving there so early would be by taking a car.  I would suggest using the Minnie Van Service.  These are driven by Cast Members and can accommodate up to 6 Guests.  This would be such a fun way to begin your day!   You can make your booking on the Lyft app, which will also show you the cost of this service.   Alternatively, you could stop by the front desk of Disney's Pop Century Resort, and ask them to hail you a taxi.  Please allow plenty of time for this, as there may not be a taxi readily waiting at the resort.  Before the actual day, I would visit the front desk to ask about timings.

There is something very special about arriving early at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.  Enjoy the opportunity to take some unique photos while it is waking up, and is relatively uncrowded.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
